  • Explore the hypothalamus and pituitary gland in a new microanatomy model.

Also, as always, bug fixes and minor improvements.

Biology models now available in the VB Suite reference app!

Say hello to life science! You're going to love our new biology content:

  • Learn about the function of cells and explore models of eukaryotic and bacterial cells. Examine the components of blood cells under a virtual microscope.
  • Study the building blocks of life with our new DNA model. See how the double helix is formed by nitrogenous bases and the sugar-phosphate backbone. Interact with simulations of DNA coiling around histones and supercoiling into chromatin.
  • Compare and contrast animal and human anatomy with our new dissectible sea star, earthworm, frog, and pig models.

Summer 2023: minor and mighty improvements!

The VB Team spent the first part of the summer making VB Suite even easier to navigate and use. These improvements will make your everyday use smoother and faster.

The web app loads thousands of 3D models that you can rotate, zoom into, and explore.

  • Selecting a model is now faster and more responsive.
  • Scrolling the menu with a magic mouse or trackpad is now more controlled. We also added a new scroll speed setting so you can slow it down or speed it up.

New content and features: July 2023

VB Suite's latest update will get your heart pumping!

  • Interact with a 3D beating heart to learn about the cardiac cycle, conduction, and cardiac output. You can adjust the heart rate by setting the BPM and follow along on an ECG.
  • Our new pathology slideshows visually explain diseases like lung cancer, cirrhosis, and more.

New menu and search feature

VB Suite has a brand new menu and search system!

  • Start by choosing a topic of interest, such as human anatomy
  • Search for specific content by keyword and filter results by content type (3D view, animation, etc.)
  • Check out the Spotlight section for newly added content and features, helpful tips, and free resources

And, as always, bug fixes and minor improvements.

New content and features: April 2023

Discover what happens when physiology breaks down with the new pathology update!

  • Explore 8 new 3D models of common disease states, such as Alzheimer's Disease, meningitis, multiple sclerosis, and more.
  • Better understand physiology and pathology with 13 new videos about Parkinson's Disease, ALS, epilepsy, and more.

And, as always, bug fixes and minor improvements.

New and improved systems tray

Fine-tune your study of anatomy with the muscle layers, attachments, and improved region selection in Visible Body Suite’s systems tray:
