Visible Body Selects Amazon Web Services as Cloud Infrastructure Provider

Newton MA — June 14, 2017 — Visible Body today announced that it has selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its cloud infrastructure provider. Starting this month, all Visible Body web-based site licenses will be hosted on AWS.

AWS’s Cloudfront content delivery network will allow for faster downloads around the globe of Visible Body’s rich content, such as its 3D anatomical models and detailed physiology animations. Visible Body’s worldwide customer base will now access cached content on edge servers close to where they are working and studying, cutting download times by 50% or more.
